Who collects your data
Sakmeow’s Atelier is operated by Randy Webster, the parent and legal guardian of the artist, Sakmeow. Any data this site collects is held by the site operator.
What we collect
- Contact details — the name and email address you provide when you send a message through the contact form.
- Commission briefs — the description and any reference images you upload when requesting a commission. Reference images are stored privately and are visible only to you and the site operator.
- Account details — when you create an account, your email address and the sign-in metadata Supabase needs to keep that account secure.
- Payment details — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card numbers; we keep only Stripe’s reference IDs to match a payment to your commission.
- Basic technical data — standard logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) that our hosting provider records for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To reply to your message or fulfill your commission.
- To send updates about a piece you’ve commissioned.
- To keep the Site working, secure, and free of abuse.
- To meet legal or tax obligations where required.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Service providers we rely on
- Supabase — database, authentication, and private file storage. Your account, your commission details, and your uploaded reference images are stored in Supabase.
- Stripe — payment processing. Card data is handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we receive only confirmation and reference IDs.
- Resend — transactional email. We use Resend to send commission confirmations and notifications to you and to the site operator.
- Vercel — hosting and basic request logs.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy describing how it handles data on our behalf.
Cookies
We use the minimum cookies needed to make the Site work — for example, to keep you signed in once accounts are available. We don’t use advertising cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete your account and data.
- Object to certain uses of your data, or restrict them.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
These rights are covered, for example, by CCPA (California) and GDPR (EU / UK). To exercise them, use the contact form.
Children
The Site is operated by an adult on behalf of a minor artist. The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
Retention
We keep your data only as long as we need to in order to reply to you, fulfill your commission, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows (especially when commissions and payments come online in Phase 3). We’ll update the date below when we do.
